Tatooine Electronic Systems – Billings Collection Facility was opened by Brandon Fox on Earth day in 2006. We are a remote collection facility that is partnered with Tatooine Electronic Systems, Inc. in Cheyenne, Wyoming which was established in 1996 by Jeff Stumph.
Our task is to collect electronic waste from all across Montana for de-manufacturing and recycling at the Cheyenne facility. As of the end of 2008 we estimate that we have kept 380 tons of electronic waste from entering Montana landfills.
We are licensed by the Montana Department of Environmental Quality as an authorized handler of electronic waste. We are also licensed with the Montana Department of Justice to handle and recycle video poker and keno machines.
